Hey there! I’m Gijs Verstegen. I have a deep passion for music and pursued my studies in music education at the conservatory. At the tender age of eight, I aspired to master the guitar just like Slash. I embarked on my musical journey with guitar lessons, learning to read musical notes and play a few chords. Reflecting on the initial phase of my learning process, I realize it was quite tedious and uninteresting. I don’t want you to go through the same experience. With Gijs Music Academy, I assure you that learning to play the guitar can be an enjoyable experience right from the first lesson!
